Meet Kathleen Walsh, a Brooklyn New York-based interior designer and founder of Kathleen Walsh Interiors that has dedicated her career to helping dozens of individuals create the home they have always dreamed of. With her sophisticated, tailored, and serene designs, her nuanced sense of color, her hyperaware attention to details, texture, and balance, and her consistent honor to the perfectly imperfect in every project; has established her as one of the best interior designers all over New York and New England.
Funnily enough, though, Walsh did not initially intend to do interior design when she first moved to New York to go to Pratt Institute. Since she always loved fabric, Walsh had intended to study fashion. However, while there, Walsh fell in love with how fabric can work for spaces. Combining this with her love for sculpture and architecture and interior design seemed like her true calling, and she quickly changed courses.
Two decades later, she continues to thrive in the interior design industry with various design accolades under her belt, as well as, her business, Kathleen Walsh Interiors, which she started in 2004, continues to flourish.
Walsh’s goal has always been to help people genuinely love spending time in their homes. Thus, pulling inspiration from her travels and experiences as well her clients, she strives to create unique designs that showcase the individuality of each of her clients and reflect their true voices.
