She is currently renovating a NYC townhouse where she lives with her husband and growing family.
Growing up, Ashley was surrounded by leading industry experts within her family. STARK is a premier design industry partner for luxury residential and hospitality carpeting projects and was established in 1983 by Ashley’s grandfather Arthur Stark. STARK specializes in designing, restoring, installing and maintaining carpet and rugs to create beautiful spaces. The company has connections all around the world and has showrooms in NYC, Los Angeles and China. STARK has furnished the White House and also introduced the iconic leopard rose pattern. Ashley is part of the third generation within the family business and joined the company in 2004. She is now Creative Director and offers a fresh, new energy to the business.
Ashley has had a feature in Harper’s Bazaar where she shared her knowledge on how to use rugs and carpets to create an unforgettable space. She is currently renovating an Upper East Side townhouse from top to bottom with her husband. The style of the townhouse is very family friendly yet sophisticated with vintage, handmade and antique decor pieces. Ashley chose to incorporate a mixture of textures and materials into each room to keep her home classy and traditional.
